James Hoban's Irish bar is seated in the middle of one of the busiest areas of downtown DC. Located immediately off of the DuPont Circle Metro stop, Hoban's strives to incorporate the community feel that true Irish Pub's have while shaking the stigma that the only food available is Crubeens (pig's foot). Hoban's has constructed an imaginative menu using fresh local ingredients to compliment the community they have created inside their doors.

Hoban's has gone out of their way to be accomodate the Washington Irish and hopes to show every person attending that this is a perfect venue for anything you are looking to do in DC. They have an extensive collection of flat screen TVs for all sporting events (including rugby!), large spaces for all private parties, and a lovely patio to enjoy DC's beautiful summers. The Irish and Hoban's hope that you find the venue as perfect as they believe it to be.
